We have ensured heartfelt contribution to delivery and provision of 200 cooked meals to struggling families from a community kitchen* in Hounslow, West London, running a takeaway service and voluntarily actioning home deliveries during this pandemic.
With many seeking a helping hand living below the poverty line, we're proud to be a part of providing a safe, warm environment for those in need to enjoy a good meal with dignity.
The UK Department of Health defines ‘food poverty’ as ‘the inability to afford, or to have access to food to make up a healthy diet.’ Studies show that up to four million adults and children in the UK are at risk of going hungry.
